Tereza Horáček (London) captures Elizabeth Bennet’s first glimpse of Pemberley, transforming the estate’s grounds. Inspired by Georgian manor-house paintings, the composition frames the glowing orange façade through carefully arranged trees, their dense foliage opening onto a pastoral landscape. The painting’s fluorescent edges illuminate the painted surface, echoing the warmth of the distant house while bringing contemporary energy to the Georgian scene. Like Elizabeth, we are invited to pause at the threshold of a world not yet fully revealed.
